Betty created EN-RICH-MENT as a safe haven for youth who live in low income neighborhoods and come from diverse backgrounds. Programs offered provide an outlet for youth to express their needs and concerns. Students learn about healthy lifestyles, anti-bullying and other topics from guest speakers who donate their time to the program. Students are offered high level learning opportunities through classes in music theory, history of various genres of music and musicianship. They also receive private/group lessons and perform in concerts and community events. This 501(c)3 nonprofit organization was founded in 2012 and serves youth from the ages of 5 through 18 years. Betty encourages everyone to get involved by contacting the EN-RICH-MENT PERFORMING ARTS CENTER at 330-546-7724 or email bettymacsmith@gmail.com. They are located at 1014 Cleveland Avenue, NW, Canton, OH 44702. For more information visit their website at www.en-rich-ment.org.
